2008-2009 School Year

Welcome Back!
I would like to welcome all of you back to the beginning of our best year yet! I know many of you have been taking various workshops this summer. With a new year comes some new and exciting new technology applications. From the implementation of our new Microsoft Outlook client to the addition of FISD's new Podcasting/Blog/Wiki server, we have a lot of wonderful things to look forward to.
In short here is a tentative guide I will be following for the first 5 weeks of school. Week One I will focus on teacher/student logins, e-mail issues, eSchool/Attendance. Week Two I will focus on setting up your gradebooks and discussing team meeting times that we could meet on a regular basis. Week Three I will focus on scheduling video conferences for your teams. Week Four I will send out and analyze staff surveys regarding technology workshops. Week Five I will schedule campus technology workshops for Bledsoe & Sparks.
Due to the larger student population at Bledsoe, I will be there Mon-Wed-Fri and at Sparks on Tues-Thurs. I am going to try to go Sparks on Friday afternoons (if possible).
I am so excited about working with each and every one of you this year.
